Step One: 🌱 Bloom → awareness, reflection, understanding yourself and your child
Awareness begins the moment we pause and reflect.
THINK PARENTING Bloom is the first step in the journey of more conscious parenting. This book invites parents to slow down and reflect ~ not only on their child’s behavior, but also on their own reactions, triggers, and expectations.
Often the patterns we bring into parenting were shaped long before we had children of our own. By gently exploring these patterns, parents can begin to understand themselves more clearly while learning to see their child as the unique individual they are.
Bloom is about awareness, reflection, and the beginning of growth ~ because when parents become more aware of themselves, their connection with their children begins to change in powerful ways.
Think Parenting Bloom is designed to be thoughtful yet easy to read. The book is organized into short, engaging sections that explore one idea at a time, making it easy for parents to reflect and absorb each lesson without feeling overwhelmed.
Throughout the book, you’ll find reflection questions to help you become more aware of your own reactions, patterns, and experiences as a parent. Many sections also include simple activities you can do with your child ~ from creative expression and conversation to playful exercises that help children explore their feelings.
These moments are meant to turn learning into shared experiences, helping both parent and child grow together while building stronger understanding and connection.
• How their own childhood experiences can influence their parenting
• How to recognize emotional triggers and reactions
• How to pause and reflect instead of reacting automatically
• How to better understand their child’s unique personality and needs
• How greater self-awareness can strengthen the parent-child connection
I wrote Think Parenting Bloom because parenting often reveals parts of ourselves we never expected to face. Many of us are trying to guide our children while still carrying experiences from our own childhood that shaped the way we see the world.
This book encourages parents to pause, reflect, and begin understanding themselves more deeply ~ because when parents grow in awareness, they create space for their children to grow as well.
